Review : Great game but there were a few problems with the contents.
This is a must have for any A&A fan. I have played the game a few times now (haven't tried global yet) and have enjoyed every play. The reasoning for 4 stars is that there were a few problems I have with the components. First, one of the game boards was bowing on all 4 corners and in the middle. This doesn't make the games unplayable but still it bothers me. I asked wizards of the coast for a replacement and they haven't responded yet. Second, there aren't as many dice or plastic chips as I had hopped for what i paid for the game. Once again, this doesn't make the game unplayable but it is frustrating to have to roll the same 3 or 6 dice over and over again in a battle. All in all this is a fun game, but unless your a real fan of A&A already I would consider getting 1942.
