Review : Great Expansion!
StarCraft: Brood war expansion takes what was a great strategy game with StarCraft the board game and improves in every way and I mean in every way, the game has new order tokens, new units, new technology cards, new heroes, new planets ( game board).
The first thing you do once taking all the pieces out, is remove some cards from the original deck of cards and technology cards and add the slightly modified cards in, some things were changed for the expansion and changed for balance. Each faction's leadership cards replace the ones from the original and again it improves the layout and makes the needed changes for Brood War.
Once everything is done and setup the game plays similar from the first so if you have a group of friends that have played the original then there is only a couple of gameplay changing rules to go over, like the new defense token that can be played instantly instead of waiting for the order stack to be completed. This game is very polished...
